Problems & Solutions

                           
This page has been designed for solutions for common reported problems that you may encounter while using VendorNet functions.  If there is a problem that you encounter that is not listed below, please send it to meijervendor@meijer.com for a solution. 
 

Problem:  I have access to the ScoreCard function but when the Score Card link is
                clicked, the drop down box  displays 'all vendors' and not my company's
                name. 

Solution:  Your Meijer assigned VendorNet ID has not been added to your company's
                 National Account, or you do not have a assigned Buyfrom vendor number. 
                 Please send an email to meijervendor@meijer.com requesting connection.  

Problem:  In the AP Query function the drop down box states 'pick a vendor', but my
                company's name is not listed.

Solution:  Your Meijer assigned VendorNet user ID has not been linked to the Meijer
                 Pay to vendor number, in our AP system.  Please click email link
                 vfm@meijer.com located below drop down box requesting connection.
                 Please include your Meijer assigned user ID.               

Problem:  I am having trouble locating invoices, debit memos etc in the AP Query
                 function.  

Solution:  Please send all AP Query questions/concerns to vendserv@meijer.com

Problem:   As a Administrator for my company, I do not have access to the Cost
                 Change Form.

Solution:  Only vendors that have Meijer buying office approval will have access to the
                Cost Change Form.  Please contact your Meijer Buyer for approval for
                access to the Cost Change function.

Problem:   I am having problems reading / understanding the ScoreCard metrics.

Solution:  Please send all questions regarding the ScoreCard function to

Problem:  I can not see all the buttons / options in the VendorNet site.

Solution:  You will need to upgrade your browser.  You may do so on the VendorNet
                 site by clicking Downloads on the VendorNet Tool Bar and clicking the link
                 on the left  provided for Internet Explorer or Netscape.  The VendorNet site
                 supports Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape 6.0 or higher.     

Problem:  When I click a document to be viewed in PDF format the document is blank.

Solution:  You will need  Adobe Acrobat Reader  software installed on your PC to view
                PDF documents.  To do so, click on Downloads on the VendorNet Tool Bar
                and click on Acrobat Reader to down load the current version of Adobe
                Acrobat Reader. 

Problem:  When I print a PDF document, all that prints is the top and left side of the
                page, not the document that I am viewing.

Solution:  You need to click the print icon in Adobe Acrobat, not your print icon for your
                 browser.      

Problem:  I can not view the ScoreCard e-mercial.

Solution:  You must install Macromedia Flash.  To do so from the VendorNet site, click
                 on the Downloads icon on the VendorNet  Tool Bar and select Macromedia
                 Flash.   

Problem:  I am experiencing Java Script errors while viewing VendorNet pages.

Solution:  If your version is 3.1 or less of MS Scripting Engines, will need to upgrade to
                the latest version.  To do so from the VendorNet site, click the Downloads
                icon on the VendorNet Tool Bar and select MS Scripting Engines.
